About Clober Farm and Spinal Injuries Scotland
Clober Farm is a converted farmhouse set back from Craigton Road in Milngavie. Clober Farm is a self-catering apartment that can accommodate up to 6 guests in three bedrooms. The ideal size for a three generation family holiday.
First and foremost the situation of the house offers quietness and relaxation. There is level access throughout and a light and airy combined kitchen/living area. Patio doors lead onto a large garden filled with herbaceous plants and a sensory garden for guests to enjoy including a ramped wooden summerhouse.
Private accessible parking is immediately in front of the main door. There is space for two vehicles and parking is free.
Clober Farm is situated less that an hour from Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, only seven miles from Glasgow. Milngavie has train links to Glasgow and Edinburgh, plus a pedestrianised precinct with independent retailers and eateries.
In keeping with the wishes of the late Viv Donaldson, who bequeathed the original building to Spinal Injuries Scotland, Clober Farm is exclusively available to be rented if your party includes a disabled individual who requires the adapted facilities we offer
Spinal Injuries Scotland (Registered Charity: SC015405) is the national voluntary organisation concerned with new and long-term spinal cord injured people, their relatives and friends, along with those involved in the management, care and rehabilitation of the injury.
Spinal Injuries Scotland provides support through the office based Information Service and operates a self-referral information line. We also provide a legal and welfare rights advisory service. Our representatives, who are able to discuss all aspects of living with a spinal cord injury, undertake regular visits to the Queen Elizabeth National Spinal Injuries Unit.
In addition we liaise with other similar voluntary and professional organisations so that the issues surrounding spinal cord injury are recognised and understood.
